The lighthouse on the rock-island of Eilean Mòr in the Flannan Isles is one of the most isolated places on earth. In December 1900, a relief boat arrived with supplies and support for the keepers, but the only sign of life was three blackbirds, sitting on the roof of the living quarters, quietly staring. The three keepers had disappeared into thin air. To this day, this unsolved case puzzles armchair sleuths all over the world.
