Tokyo, 1992. The mysterious death of a young Australian woman working as a hostess in Japan goes unsolved.

Eight years later, a young British woman disappears under similar mysterious circumstances.

All eyes turn to wealthy Japanese playboy, Joji Obara – a man who had no known friends and refused to ever have his photo taken. He was eventually dubbed: The Beast with a Human Face.

This is a sordid story about what happened to countless foreign women, working in Tokyo in the 1990’s.
